The Advanced Technical Computing Center (ATCC) provides comprehensive and innovative High Performance Computing (HPC) solutions to engineering and scientific organizations.
Leveraging our core strengths in technical computing and data center operations, ATCC offers optimum solutions for customers. Through the use of highly tuned applications, outstanding tools, established operating systems, proven hardware, and excellent consulting support, ATCC can help our customers achieve complete solutions to their challenging problems.
ATCC is dedicated to supporting NEC's global high performance computing activities. A foundation activity of ATCC is porting and tuning Independent Software Vendor (ISV) applications for efficient use on NEC's SX series and NEC Itanium Processor Family (IPF) servers. ATCC operates the NEC SX-9 and the NEC IPF Express 5800/1000 platforms in The Woodlands, Texas for benchmarking and customer demonstrations worldwide.
ATCC's Earth Simulator/Benchmarking group works jointly with American and Japanese scientists using the Earth Simulator to develop models for climate predictions including global warming. This group also provides technical consultation and vector tuning experience to support NEC's worldwide SX series marketing efforts.
